USC is another huge betting favorite for Friday night game vs. Colorado
USC is a 34-point favorite over Colorado.
Opening lines for Week 11 action throughout college football were released on Sunday by Circa Sports. The Trojans opened as a massive favorite for their Friday night clash with the 1-8 Buffs. It’s a huge number. The biggest of the season, in fact.
Coach Lincoln Riley and Co. have been 20-plus-point favorites three other times this season — in the opener against Rice (31.5 points), against Arizona State (24.5), and this past week against Cal (21). The Trojans have covered the spread only once.
USC has actually been a rough play for bettors this season. The Trojans are 5-4 against the spread this year. The over has hit in six games, but they’ve failed to cover the spread in four of their last six games.

Colorado has been even worse, though. The 1-8 Buffaloes are 2-7 against the spread this year. They’ve been a double-digit dog every game, and a 20-plus-point dog now five times.
USC will be playing its first weeknight game of the season. We’ll see how that shorter week of prep impacts things. The Trojans have a number of key contributors who did not play against Cal who figure to once again have their status up in the air this week. Kickoff Friday is set for 6:30 p.m. PT on FS1.
