USC football learns Big Ten opponents through 2028 schedule
USC football is gearing up for the move to the Big Ten beginning in the 2024 season. That will mark the first occurrence of the 18-team conference with the Trojans accompanied by Oregon, Washington and UCLA in the move.
After the Huskies and the Ducks made the announcement this summer, the Big Ten needed to re-work its schedule which the league announced on Thursday. The new schedule includes Big Ten opponents from 2024-28.
As a part of the schedule, USC vs. UCLA is included as an annual protected rivalry in the new-look B1G. In the first season of Big Ten play, the Trojans will make trips to Maryland, Michigan and Minnesota from pre-existing Big Ten programs and a couple of away games on the West Coast.
Here are the Big Ten opponents for USC from 2024 through 2028:

- Home games: Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers, Wisconsin

- Away games: Illinois, Nebraska, Oregon, Purdue
- Home games: Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, UCLA
2026
- Away games: Indiana, Penn State, Rutgers, UCLA, Wisconsin
- Home games: Maryland, Ohio State, Oregon, Washington
2027
- Away games: Iowa, Maryland, Ohio State, Washington
- Home games: Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, UCLA, Wisconsin
2028
- Away games: Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Oregon, UCLA
- Home games: Iowa, Nebraska, Penn State, Purdue
