USC football added a commitment from Class of 2024 safety Marquis Gallegos, a 4-star prospect who hails from Sierra Canyon HS in Chatsworth, California. He joins 4-star WR and teammate Xavier Jordan as Sierra Canyon players to commit to USC.

Gallegos stands at 6-1, 175 pounds and represents USC’s 14th commitment of the 2024 cycle. He’s also the Trojans’ 2nd safety pledge of the offseason.

Gallegos chose the trojans over impressive offers from Oregon, Tennessee, Nebraska, Michigan, Oklahoma, UCLA and Notre Dame, to name just a few.

Gallegos is considered to be the No. 253 player in the nation, as well as the No. 21 safety and the No. 23 player from the state of California.
