Riordan is staying home, as he currently plays for Sierra Canyon in Chatsworth, California, just a short drive away from USC’s campus.
Riordan is the 4th commitment for USC for the Class of 2026, and the Trojans boast the No. 1 overall class for 2026 according to 247Sports composite. The Trojans already have the No. 1 cornerback and the No. 1 quarterback from the Class of 2026.
Riordan’s commitment comes shortly after USC announced the firing of defensive coordinator Alex Grinch. Grinch was fired following USC’s 3rd loss of the season to Washington.
While the Trojans still have a few years before Riordan and a handful of other standout players join the team, its clear USC’s defensive future is bright.
