USC will welcome Georgia Southern to the LA Memorial Coliseum in 2025.

The Trojans announced that addition to their schedule on Tuesday afternoon. Former USC head coach Clay Helton is now the head coach at Georgia Southern and could be leading the Eagles from the visiting sidelines for that game.

This will be the first-ever meeting between USC and Georgia Southern on the gridiron.

USC also announced it will host Nevada on Sept. 11, 2027.

Here’s USC’s announcement:

Helton would be making his return to the LA Coliseum after he spent parts of 7 seasons as the Trojans’ head coach. He was fired before the end of the 2021 campaign and was eventually replaced by Lincoln Riley.

He is entering his 2nd season as Georgia Southern’s head coach. Last season, he led the Eagles to a 6-7 record and an appearance in the Camellia Bowl.
