USC’s hot streak on the recruiting trail continues with another blue-chip commitment. The latest pledge for the Trojans comes from a top-100 prospect out of Georgia.

Kameryn Fountain, a standout defender from Atlanta, announced Monday that he has committed to play for Lincoln Riley’s program. Fountain shared the big news on social media.

Out of Booker T. Washington High School, Fountain is listed at over 6-5 and 237 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Fountain is rated 4-stars, the No. 7 EDGE defender, No. 11 Georgia recruit and No. 81 prospect overall nationally in the 2024 recruiting class.

Fountain has picked up 29 scholarship offers during his recruitment. He visited USC over the weekend and felt the school was the right fit for him on and off the field.

“Really it was the way I bonded with the coach and also the academic program they talked to me about,” Fountain told Steve Wilfong of 247Sports. “All the majors I’m thinking about, engineering, business, real estate they’re No. 1 in that and they can really help me out with that. USC it wasn’t just football, football, football, it was outside of football, how you’re doing mentally, physically, emotionally.”

USC is up to 7 commitments for 2024 after adding Fountain. Earlier Monday, 4-star CB Dakoda Fields pledged to the Trojans, following 2 commitments on Sunday.
