Lincoln Riley is all-in on quickly and drastically overhauling the USC roster.

The first-year head coach met with reporters on Friday to talk about the 7-person class the Trojans have signed so far, and when asked what he might be looking for in terms of transfer players, Riley said there is no position that won’t get a look from the staff.

“There’s not any position we wouldn’t consider right now,” he said, per the Los Angeles Times’ Ryan Kartje. “We may overhaul 35 spots, if not more, on this roster.”

On that front Riley has been consistent and honest from the get-go. He told the Pac-12 Network during an appearance on Wednesday that they were getting ready to turn over a drastic number of spots, and that signing day for them wasn’t just Wednesday. He said the same Friday.

So far, the USC freshman class for the 2022 cycle features 3 of the top 50 players in the 247 Composite and a pair of 5-stars from powerhouse Mater Dei. USC signed running back Raleek Brown on Wednesday and then Domani Jackson—the top player in the state and No. 7 player nationally—on Friday.
