Tuliaupupu has had an injury-ravaged career at USC. The defensive lineman missed the 2018 and 2019 seasons due to a foot injury and then suffered a knee injury which cost him the entire 2020 season. This same knee injury kept Tuliaupupu sideline for all of 2021 as well.
Tuliaupupu finally got on the field in 2022, seeing action in eight games and finishing with 10 tackles and 2.5 sacks. The veteran defensive lineman was slated to be a key contributor on the line in 2023 before suffering another major setback.
USC kicks off the 2023 season on Saturday, Aug. 26 against San Jose State.
