On June 16, the USC campus will turn into a who’s who of the 2023 recruiting class.

That Thursday, the Trojans will welcome 13 2023 recruits to campus, including 5-star commit Zachariah Branch and 5-star Texas linebacker Anthony Hill. On Friday, 11 more recruits get to town, including 4-star commit A’Marion Peterson, 5-star tight end Duce Robinson, and 5-star edge rusher Matayo Uiagelelei.

Robinson, the No. 17 overall prospect in the cycle, per the 247 Composite, locked his official visit in on Thursday. It’ll be a return trip for the nation’s No. 1 tight end from Phoenix (Ariz.) Pinnacle. He was in Los Angeles for the Trojans’ spring game in April.

Maybe he’s the capper on a weekend that could end with fireworks for coach Lincoln Riley and the Trojans, but then again, Riley has the Trojan machine up and humming now more than six months into the job so maybe there are more looking to get in on the fun. As it stands, the list of incoming visitors is absolutely bonkers. USC doesn’t need to hit on even half to suddenly see its class ranking rocket up the 247Sports leaderboard.

Here’s the list of attendees:

  • 5-star WR commit Zachariah Branch (No. 6 overall)
  • 5-star LB Anthony Hill (No. 14)
  • 5-star TE Duce Robinson (No. 17)
  • 5-star edge Matayo Uiagelelei (No. 21)
  • 4-star LB Malik Bryant (No. 49)
  • 4-star WR Jalen Hale (No. 59)
  • 4-star TE Walker Lyons (No. 70)
  • 4-star CB Christian Gray (No. 94)
  • 4-star OL Markis Deal (No. 102)
  • 4-star OL Lucas Simmons (No. 107)
  • 4-star ATH Micah Tease (No. 151)
  • 4-star S commit Braxton Myers (No. 169)
  • 4-star RB commit Quinten Joyner (No. 215)
  • 4-star edge Braylan Shelby (No. 238)
  • 4-star DL Terrance Green (No. 267)
  • 4-star DL Edric Hill (No. 302)
  • 4-star RB commit A’Marion Peterson (No. 311)
  • 4-star S Warren Roberson (No. 312)

At the moment, the Trojans’ 2023 class has seven known commitments. Headlined by quarterback Malachi Nelson, the No. 2 recruit in the country, the USC class currently ranks 11th in the 247 Composite.

The Trojans will also welcome a pair of 4-stars to campus for official visits this weekend as well—Lousiana linebacker Tackett Curtis and Florida defensive lineman Jordan Hall. Both are top-160 prospects in the 2023 cycle. The group will be smaller (only four confirmed), but consider that the calm before the storm.
