LeBron James released a statement on Thursday morning following Bronny James’ hospitalization earlier this week.

Bronny James reportedly suffered cardiac arrest on Monday night while going through a workout at USC. The Trojans freshman guard has been in stable condition since Tuesday, according to reports.

The Lakers forward shared more good news on Thursday. James said everyone is “doing great” and is “safe and healthy.” He also thanked everyone who has supported their family during this time.

Here’s the statement:

I want to thank the countless people sending my family love and prayers. We feel you and I’m so grateful. Everyone doing great. We have our family together, safe and healthy, and we feel your love. Will have more to say when we’re ready but I wanted to tell everyone how much your support has meant to all of us!

James was set to begin his freshman season at USC this fall. He was a 5-star prospect in the class of 2023. His status for the 2023-24 season and beyond remains unclear.
