Jordan Addison is having himself a game for the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football.

Things started poorly, however, with Addison having a ball wrestled away by 49ers defensive back Charvarius Ward. Luckily for Addison’s Vikings, the team forced a turnover on their own and quickly got the ball back.

Shortly after the turnover, Addison found the end zone on a 20-yard score to put the Vikings up 7-0. Then, just before halftime, Addison got some revenge on Ward.

Cousins threw another pass that Ward attempted to pry away, but this time Addison got the better of the DB. Addison came away with the ball and trotted into the end zone for a 60-yard score just before the half.

Vikings kicker Greg Joseph missed the extra point, but the Vikings still took a 16-7 lead into the break.

The Vikings needed the rookie to step up after star receiver Justin Jefferson landed on injured reserve. He’s delivered with 2 touchdowns in the first half.

Addison spent his first 2 collegiate seasons at Pittsburgh before transferring to USC for the 2022 season. Addison racked up 875 yards and 8 TDs for the Trojans before being selected with the No. 23 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
