The Heisman Trophy was awarded to USC QB Caleb Williams on Saturday night in New York City, making him the eighth Trojan to win the prestigious honor.

It was a comfortable win for Williams, coming off a 37-touchdown, 4-interception season in which he also added 10 scores as a runner.

As you can see below, Williams finished with 2,031 total points and 544 first-place votes, well ahead of second-place finisher Max Duggan. The TCU quarterback finished with 1,420 total points and 188 first-place votes:

Ohio State QB CJ Stroud finished third and Georgia QB Stetson Bennett IV took fourth place. Williams won first place in every region around the country.

Williams still has 1 more season to play at USC before he becomes eligible for the NFL Draft. As he mentioned during his speech, the other 3 finalists are competing for the College Football Playoff title in a couple of weeks. Williams would like to be part of that group this time next year.
