Former USC OLB Uchenna Nwosu is staying in Seattle. Nwosu has landed a mutli-year extension with the Seahawks.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Nwosu’s deal is for 3 years and worth up to $59 million. Nwosu is guaranteed to make $32 million with his extension.

Nwosu played at USC from 2014-to-2017, capping his Trojan career by earning first-team All-Pac-12 recognition. The Los Angeles Chargers slected Nwosu with the No. 48 pick in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Nwosu remained with the Chargers through the 2021 season. Ahead of the 2022 season, he signed with the Seahawks.

In 2022, Nwosu started all 17 regular-season games. He had a career year, recording 66 tackles, including 35 solo stops with 9.5 sacks, along with 4 pass breakups, 3 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries.
