ESPN's SP+ predicts outcome of USC's Week 6 matchup with Arizona
Bill Connelly’s SP+ has predicted the final score of USC’s visit to Arizona on Saturday.
The Trojans are currently 5-0 and are set to be a big favorite as they travel to Tucson. Lincoln Riley’s team has yet to score less than 42 points in a single game in 2023, including during a 48-41 Week 5 win at Colorado, as they have their sights set on a College Football Playoff berth.
According to Bill Connelly’s SP+ projections, things won’t deviate from the norm too much against the Wildcats. The Trojans are predicted to win 43-24 and improve to 6-0.

As expected, Caleb Williams has been the focal point of the USC offense as he has thrown for over 1600 yards in 5 games, and has a 74.5% completion rate to go along with his 21 touchdowns and 1 interception.
As things stand, he’s the Heisman frontrunner as he looks to join Archie Griffin as the award’s only 2-time winner.
Arizona will look to slow down another high-octane offense after holding Washington to a season-low 31 points in a Week 5 loss at home. The Wildcats also held UW to a season-low for yardage and recorded two of the three sacks on quarterback Michael Penix Jr. all year.
Kickoff from Arizona Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m. PT. The game will be televised on ESPN.
