Emmanuel Pregnon, Wyoming OL transfer, announces Pac-12 commitment
Emmanuel Pregnon has settled on his next school. The former Wyoming offensive lineman who had a reported 20 offers since entering the transfer portal announced a commitment to USC on Wednesday.
Pregnon, listed at 6-foot-6 and 320 pounds, noted on social media, “New blessings, excited for this journey.”
Pregnon became a starter at right guard in 2022, and graded out as the No. 3 guard in the Mountain West, according to Pro Football Focus, and earned Freshman All-American status. Pregnon was somewhat of a late bloomer, as coming out of high school he was an unranked prospect in the 2020 class out of Denver. Wyoming was his only listed offer.
The Trojans now have 2 of the best players out of the portal, especially among linemen, in Pregnon and former Georgia defensive lineman Bear Alexander. Given the number of offers and the never-ending need for offensive line help, Pregnon was a hot commodity immediately.
