James is of course the son of NBA and basketball legend Lebron James. He chose USC over Ohio State and others as a 4-star prospect out of high school.
The Trojans have had a rough start to the season on the court. USC started the season ranked and has fallen since, losing to UC Irvine and Oklahoma. The Trojans sit at 5-2 on the year with good wins over Kansas State and Seton Hall.
USC will face off against No. 11 Gonzaga on Saturday.
