Brenden Rice sends message to USC fans about his plans for the 2024 season
Brenden Rice sent a message to USC fans on Friday and thanked them for taking him in and making him feel at home, through the good and bad. But it was also a message to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft.
Rice was second on the Trojans this season with 45 catches for 791 yards and 12 touchdowns, which was 3rd in the Pac-12 and 7th in the nation. He was named to the All-Pac-12 second team.
Rice is the son of NFL legend and wide receiver Jerry Rice.
Rice, who began his career at Colorado, last season made 12 starts in his first season with the Trojans in 2022. He made 39 catches (fourth on the team) for 611 yards (15.7 avg) with in 4 TDs. Rice also recorded 3 kick returns for 49 yards (16.3 avg) with a long of 18 yards.
