Bear Alexander decided to transfer to USC after spending the majority of his college career at Georgia. Alexander appeared on “The Hard Count with J.D. Pickell” to talk about what USC fans can expect from the former Georgia DL.

Alexander played in 12 games for the Bulldogs this past season and recorded 9 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks. When On3 Sports’ J.D. Pickell asked Alexander what kind of player USC is getting, the former Georgia DL responded with “disruptive”.

“You’re getting a disruptive player,” said Alexander. “At times I can take over the game. You’re getting a guy that’s willing to come in and learn the scheme, work hard, and build and bring other guys along with me.”

Alexander was actually recruited by the Trojans as a high schooler. Alexander was a former 4-star DL from the 2022 class per the 247Sports Composite. 247Sports also ranked Alexander as the No. 9 player at his position and state.

Colorado and Oregon were the only other Pac-12 schools to show interest in Alexander.

USC fans will be hoping that Alexander can fix the problems on the defensive line that plagued them in 2022. Only time will tell if Alexander will be the answer to everyone’s prayers.
