Amon-Ra St. Brown is planning on playing Sunday despite injury concerns.

St. Brown was listed as questionable on the Detroit Lions’ injury report. He didn’t practice on Wednesday, then was a limited participant on Thursday. However, he said he will be playing with a steel plate in his cleat after suffering a bone bruise in his toe. He told reporters the news himself.

The Detroit Lions wideout has 173 yards receiving with 1 touchdown heading into Week 3. The Lions drafted him out of USC in the 2021 NFL Draft with the 112th overall pick.

Dan Campbell shocked the NFL world by beating the reigning Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs in the season opener 21-20. The Lions come into Sunday’s matchup at 1-1 after losing to the Seattle Seahawks in overtime in Week 2.

St. Brown had 6 receptions for 102 yards receiving in the loss.

A chance at redemption is on the table at Ford Field. Kickoff between the Atlanta Falcons and Lions will be at 1 p.m. ET on FOX.
