Lincoln Riley just beat out Alabama to keep the No. 1 prospect in the state of California home.

Mater Dei cornerback Domani Jackson announced on Friday he has committed to and signed with USC, choosing the Trojans over Alabama. The 5-star prospect and No. 7 overall recruit in the 247 Composite had previously committed to USC only to reopen his recruitment last fall. Riley sealed the deal.

Jackson is the 2nd 5-star of the class so far for Riley, who signed Mater Dei running back Raleek Brown on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound corner has all the tools to be one of the best at his position in college football. He has height, length and ran a 10.25 100-meter sprint to win the California state championship this spring. A knee injury limited his senior season of football, but he’s expected to be ready to go by the start of the 2022 season.
