Zach Charbonnet was a superstar for the UCLA Bruins in 2022, leading the Pac-12 with 1,359 rushing yards. He also finished second in the league with 14 rushing touchdowns, tied with Oregon QB Bo Nix.

Now the UCLA star is going to take his talents to the NFL ranks. He announced on Monday that he was declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft.

He posted the news on his Instagram in a lengthy thank you note to UCLA:

Charbonnet will be tough for Chip Kelly and the Bruins to replace next season, as he was a true workhorse running back.

Where will he end up being taken in the April draft? We’ll see how he fares at the NFL Combine and during his Pro Day workouts.
