UCLA pledge in Class of 2023 announces de-commitment from Bruins
Class of 2023 high 3-star ATH Ethan O’Connor announced Tuesday that he will be de-committing from UCLA following spring practice in Los Angeles. The Los Almamitos native had been committed to UCLA since October 28, 2022.
O’Connor, who stands at 6-1, 170 pounds, played both sides of the ball for Los Alamitos HS this past season during his senior year.
He made his decision Tuesday via Instagram:

O’Connor is considered to be the No. 670 overall prospect in the nation according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He’s also considered to be the No. 42 overall athlete and the No. 60 player out of the state of California.
As for where O’Connor ends up next, it’s tough to tell. Colorado is a hot topic these days with the mass exodus of player out of Deion Sanders’ program, and O’Connor took an official visit to Boulder before committing to UCLA in October of last season. Of course, things have changed since last October in Boulder.
