UCLA has landed an offensive line piece via the transfer portal, adding a former Colorado lineman with starting experience Monday evening.

The player is Jake Wiley, a 6-foot-6 and 310-pound OL who originally joined Colorado via the 2019 recruiting class. Per Wiley’s Twitter account, he was not short on offers in the transfer portal and committed to Chip Kelly’s Bruins Monday night.

Wiley was part of a large group of Colorado players to hit the transfer portal following spring practices. Deion Sanders has not been shy about his methods while turning over the roster of the Buffs but losing a piece like Wiley is still interesting for a program that struggled in 2022.

For his career at Colorado, Wiley has appeared in 30 career games from 2020-22 after redshirting during the 2019 season. He has 22 starts and could prove to be an immediate plug-and-play piece at UCLA.
