UCLA opens as slight favorite over No. 13 Washington State in Week 6
UCLA will welcome No. 13 Washington State to the Rose Bowl on Saturday.
Both teams didn’t play in Week 5 as they each had an open date. The Bruins’ last outing came at Utah on Sept. 23, a 14-7 loss in Salt Lake City to drop to 3-1. Meanwhile, Washington State squeezed out a 38-35 win the same day over Oregon State to move to 4-0 on the season.
According to the opening line for the game, the Bruins are a 3-point favorite to beat the Cougars at home in what would be an upset. The point total is set for 67.5 for this one.
The two programs haven’t met since 2019. That game went to UCLA, a 67-63 shootout. The Bruins have a 40-21-1 advantage in the all-time series that began in 1928.
Kickoff between the Bruins and Cougars is set for noon PT from Pasadena on Saturday. It will be televised on the Pac-12 Network.
