UCLA will work to keep Marcus Adams Jr. from leaving the state of California.

The Bruins are in the final 3 for Adams, along with Syracuse and Kansas.

Adams, out of Narbonne High School in Harbor City, California, is moving up the recruiting rankings. 247Sports currently has the 6-8, 200-pound small forward at No. 29 overall in the 2024 recruiting class. He tweeted about UCLA’s scholarship offer last month.

The inclusion of Kansas in the top 3 is of interest. Last month, Adams named Syracuse, Mississippi State, Oregon, Texas and UCLA as his top 5. The Bruins and Orange made the cut for the top 3, but now the Jayhawks have entered the mix.
