UCLA cornerback commit not expected to sign with Bruins yet, per report
UCLA has just one committed high school recruit left unsigned following the February signing day.
Los Alamitos (Calif.) cornerback Ethan O’Connor won’t sign on Wednesday, according to The Orange County Register’s Dan Albano. Los Alamitos head coach Ray Fenton told Albano that O’Connor remains committed to the Bruins, but he’s holding off on signing.

A 6-foot-1, 170-pound athlete, O’Connor is a 3-star prospect in the industry-generated 247 Composite. He’s ranked as the No. 42 athlete and the No. 59 prospect from the state of California.
O’Connor is expected to play corner for the Bruins. As things stand, he’s the only corner in the 2023 class — high school or transfer.
