UCLA and USC make final two for rangy 4-star forward in 2023 class
Devin Williams, a 6-foot-10 forward from Corona (Calif.) Centennial, will decide between UCLA and USC.
The 4-star forward in the class of 2023 has eliminated Arizona, Texas Tech, and UNLV from his recruitment and will focus only on the two Los Angeles contenders moving forward, it was announced on Monday. Williams is expected to announce a commitment following an official visit to UCLA on Aug. 16.

The rangy forward ranks as the 86th-best player in the 2023 class and the 19th-best at his power forward position, according to the industry-generated 247 Composite. He’s also the 16th-ranked recruit from the state of California in the cycle.
Neither USC nor UCLA have a known commitment for the 2023 cycle yet, but Williams would be an intriguing get. He’s an athletic post who runs the floor well and looks to block shots. For his AAU team, Compton Magic—an NBA talent factory of sorts—Williams recently put up 21 points, seven boards, and four blocked shots.
