Campbell’s contributions to UCLA’s program over the past few years have been immense. He helped lead the Bruins to a Final Four, 3 consecutive Sweet 16 appearances and the Pac-12 regular season title in 2023.

Following his announcement, head coach Mick Cronin released a lengthy statement recognizing Campbell’s accomplishments:

“Tyger Campbell has been a huge part of our success,” Cronin wrote in-part. “He has shown so much heart, hustle and grit in how he led this team and how he overcame a knee injury that wiped out his first season in Westwood. Tyger has so many great intangible qualities, but simply put, he is a winner.”

Campbell departs UCLA in 2nd place in all-time assists and in the top 10 in total games played for the Bruins.

The 2023 NBA Draft will be held on June 22.
