Laiatu Latu, All-Pac-12 UCLA LB, reportedly decides on 2023 season
Laiatu Latu appears to be staying at UCLA. The edge rusher had an All-Pac-12 season with the Bruins in 2022. While Latu did not make any public announcement about his plans for the 2023 season, he is not listed among players who have declared for the 2023 NFL Draft.
ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg noted Latu’s absence from the list of players with eligibility for the upcoming draft.
Not appearing here: UCLA pass rusher Laiatu Latu, who hadn’t publicly announced his NFL decision. So that’s big for Chip Kelly and the Bruins.

Latu joined UCLA a year ago after beginning his career at Washington. In his first season with the Bruins, Latu led the team with 12.5 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks, the most sacks by a UCLA player since 2016 when Takk McKinley had 10. Latu logged 36 total tackles, 3 forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup, helping UCLA to a 9-4 season.
