Joe Lunardi updated his latest bracket projection early Sunday morning shortly after UCLA’s win over Arizona.

The Bruins’ victory was enough to push UCLA to a No. 1 seed, according to Lunardi. UCLA is joined by Houston, Kansas and Alabama on the top line.

UCLA surpassed Purdue, who has been a projected No. 1 seed for much of the season. However, the Boilermakers have lost 4 of their last 8 games heading into the Big Ten Tournament.

The Bruins have 8 Quad 1 victories so far this season and zero losses outside of the top quadrant. They haven’t lost at all since Jan. 26 — a streak of 10 consecutive victories.

UCLA’s win over Arizona didn’t come without consequences. Guard Jaylen Clark was forced to leave the game early due to injury and was spotted wearing crutches after the game.

UCLA is expected to be one of the top favorites to win the Pac-12 Tournament this week.
