Jensen Somerville, elite OT out of Utah, announces Pac-12 commitment
Jensen Somerville, a 6-foot-7 and 280-pound 3-star offensive tackle from Lehi, Utah, has announced a commitment to play in the Pac-12.
Somerville committed to UCLA, he announced on social media, and added, “Blessed to have this opportunity. Thankful for my parents, coaches, mentors, and everyone who has helped me achieve this goal!”
Somerville is ranked as the No. 59 offensive tackle in America in the Class of 2024, and the No. 7 player in the state of Utah, according to the 247Sports Composite. He has a reported 11 offers, and was recruited to UCLA by Tim Drevno.
Somerville reportedly received an offer from UCLA earlier this week while at the Bruins camp, and took about a day to accept it.
He visited Arizona, Arizona State, BYU and Utah this offseason, and was previously scheduled to visit Cal, but that trip was canceled. He’s the 7th commitment for UCLA in this class.
