Ilane Fibleuil, out of 6-foot-6 wing out of INSEP (France), has announced a commitment to play in the Pac-12.

Fibleuil considered Gonzaga and the G League Ignite, but committed to UCLA.

“I would like to thank my family, friends, coaches and teammates for their support trough these past 3 years, and the college and profesionnal programs that recruited me. I’m glad to announce that I will be joining (UCLA) next season. Let’s get to work! #GoBruins”

Fibleuil was a talented player at the FIBA U17 World Cup last summer. He’s considered to have a 6-9 wing span, and uses his athleticism to score in a variety of ways.

He shared with 247Sports some insight into his decision.

“That’s really a big thing for me, it’s a big jump in my basketball journey,” he said of his decision to go to UCLA. “I am really excited to go there and start working. It’s a big university where I always wanted to play growing up. I have always loved UCLA basketball and was a big Russell Westbrook fan so it’s a dream come true for me.”
