David Singleton had a long and productive career for UCLA. After joining the Bruins as a 4-star prospect in the 2018 recruiting class, he went on to appear in 164 career games for the program.

On Friday, Singleton confirmed it was the end of the road for his time with the Bruins. He penned a thank you note to UCLA and the fans as he looks to move onto the next level.

Dear UCLA,

Thank you. Thank you for the Love and support. Thank you for making my last five years here a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and experience. Thank you for letting a kid from Los Angeles represent his city. To be able to help revitalize one of the most historic basketball programs in the country such as UCLA was an honor… I take a lot of pride in having earned my sociology degree from UCLA, and I’m looking forward to pursuing a career in professional basketball.

During the 2022-23 season, Singleton set a career-high with 9 points per game and was UCLA’s biggest threat from 3-point range. For his career, Singleton shot 43% from 3-point range and finishes his time with the Bruins with 219 career 3-point field goals.

Best of luck to Singleton as he looks to continue his career in the professional ranks.
