Dante Moore has a 60-yard throw for a touchdown in each of his first three career collegiate appearances.

The latest came Saturday against NC Central. And he did it as quickly as possible. On the first play from scrimmage, Moore hit Kam Brown for a 67-yard touchdown.

That play put UCLA up by seven points after just 18 seconds.

Three plays later, edge rusher Laiatu Latu picked off NC Central’s Davius Richard and returned the ball all the way down to the 1-yard-line, setting up another one-play scoring drive as tailback Carsen Steele bullied his way into the endzone.

Moore completed 17 of his 27 attempts for 290 yards and three scores in his first career start last week. UCLA took down San Diego State 35-10 as a result.

“He’s going to be a star, 100%,” receiver Logan Loya said after that game. “I mean, he already is.”

The Bruins are playing over on the Pac-12 Network.
