Chris 'The Bear' Fallica highlights potential Pac-12 sleeper
Chris “The Bear” Fallica has a team in mind out of the Pac-12 that may not be getting the attention they deserve: UCLA.
Chip Kelly’s team is currently 3-1 after a 14-7 Week 4 loss to Utah. The Bruins, with true freshman Dante Moore behind center, are in the midst of an open week before hosting Washington State on Oct. 7 at the Rose Bowl.
Fallica mentioned that Moore’s improvement will help the Bruins, along with the fact that they’ll play neither Washington nor Oregon as those 2 teams have been firing on all cylinders offensively.
“They have the best defense in America, along with the fewest yards per play in the country … There’s going to be an opportunity here when they play SC later in the year, where that game could potentially decide a berth in the Pac-12 title game because all the other teams in the Pacific Northwest are gonna start knocking each other out. So, don’t forget abotu UCLA even though they picked up that loss last week.”
Moore, for his part, has thrown for 849 yards, 8 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions in his 1st 4 games. Against Utah, he was 15-of-35 for 234 yards while throwing both a touchdown and an interception.
Can the Bruins find themselves in the mix when it’s all said and done?
