CFB analyst says UCLA in 'enviable' position at QB with 2023 additions
Dorian Thompson-Robinson left big shoes to fill in the UCLA quarterback room. One college football analyst, though, says the Bruins are in an enviable position with their QB options for the 2023 season.
Josh Pate of 247Sports highlighted Dante Moore, a former 5-star recruit, in his true freshmen to watch series.
“He’s 6-2 and a half, 210 (pounds) – could immediately start for them,” Pate said of Moore. “I think Collin Schlee one of the many defectors from Kent State is who he will compete against. So Chip Kelly is in a pretty good position, pretty enviable position, at quarterback.”
UCLA is looking to build on a 9-4 season in 2022, the best in 5 years with Kelly. Thompson-Robinson was a big part of getting the Bruins into the top 25. If Pate is correct in his analysis, UCLA has the QB to keep that momentum going next season.
With Dorian Thompson-Robinson gone, could 5⭐️ true freshman QB Dante Moore start right away for UCLA?@LateKickJosh wouldn’t be surprised if it happened ✍️
