Bo Calvert, former UCLA LB, announces invite to NFL team's rookie camp
Bo Calvert, a veteran UCLA outside linebacker who appeared in all 13 games last season, has announced that he received an invitation to the Denver Broncos’ rookie mini-camp.
“First step in a long journey ahead. Thankful for the opportunity!,” he wrote on Instagram.
Calvert made 26 tackles and 2 sacks last season, and in 2021, Calvert started all 12 games at outside linebacker and was the team leader with 4 sacks, and was second on the team with 7.5 tackles for loss.
In 5 seasons with the Bruins, Calvert appeared in 37 games, and made 108 tackles and 10.5 tackles for a loss.
Coming out of high school, Calvert was a 4-star prospect according to 247 Sports, and the 247 Sports’ No. 31 recruit in the state of California and the nation’s No. 18 outside linebacker.
