Stanford made a major addition to its 2024 recruiting class on Friday.

The Cardinal picked up a commitment from 3-star receiver Ricky Johnson. He’s a Georgia native who also holds offers from multiple Power 5 programs.

Johnson has been heavily recruited in recent weeks. He was expected to visit Minnesota and Pittsburgh later this month. He previously visited Stanford last week.

He also has offers from programs such as Auburn, Georgia Tech and Iowa State.

Johnson is the No. 148 receiver in the country for the class of 2024, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 126 player from the state of Georgia.

Johnson attends Houston County High School in Warner Robbins, Georgia.

Stanford is in the midst of a hot streak on the recruiting trail. The Cardinal already have 19 commitments in this cycle and own a top-10 class nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
