Stanford lands 2023 4-star Florida wideout Ahmari Borden
Stanford picked up a big commitment over the weekend.
The Cardinal landed 2023 wideout Ahmari Borden, a 4-star wideout from Quincy, Florida. The 4-star wideout recently visited Stanford and apparently loved what he saw. He chose the Cardinal over offers from Oregon, USC, Georgia, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Michigan State, among a host of other schools.

“I loved the environment and the growth mindset they’ve developed,” he told 247Sports after his visit. “It’s not just about being an athlete but also being a great individual. They really take pride in developing responsible adults and lifelong relations. … Coach (David) Shaw is really taking the program in the right direction. The coaching staff was really informative and hospitable! I believe Stanford is on the verge of dominating the Pac-12!”
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound wideout ranks 315th nationally in the 247 Composite. He’s the 42nd-ranked wideout prospect in his class.
As a junior, Borden put up over 1,000 all-purpose yards with four receiving touchdowns. He also played basketball.
He’s the third known commitment to Stanford’s 2023 class, a group that ranks 22nd nationally and second in the Pac-12 early on.
