Stanford earns commitment from blue-chip corner in 2023 class
Monday has been awfully kind to the Stanford Cardinal so far.
St. John Bosco (Calif.) defensive back Jshawn Frausto-Ramos announced on social media he has committed to Stanford. The 2023 corner is a 4-star prospect in the 247 Composite and rated as the 25th-best corner in his class. He chose the Cardinal over interest from USC and Louisville, among others. The list of offers for the 6-foot defender runs more than 15 deep. Stanford offered him on May 20, sealing the deal shortly thereafter.

“It’s a 40-year decision and I don’t think you can beat all the opportunities Stanford provides for life after football,” Frausto-Ramos told 247Sports’ Greg Biggins.
Frausto-Ramos has been a varsity starter at the high school level since he was a freshman. He plays with an edge and could move around a bit at the next level.
His pledge gives Stanford its fifth known commitment for the 2023 class.
