Stanford scored another win on the recruiting trail over the weekend.

Cameron Brandt, a 4-star defensive lineman from Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon, announced his commitment to the Cardinal on Saturday. Stanford beat out Cal for his verbal pledge, as well as a number of other Pac-12 schools that had interest. Utah and Arizona State were the only Pac-12 schools not to offer him.

The 6-foot-4, 260-pound Brandt rates as a 3-star in the industry-generated 247 Composite—which factors in ratings from Rivals and ESPN—but the in-house team at 247Sports thinks he’s a 4-star prospect and the 38th-ranked defensive lineman in the class.

Brandt took an official visit to Stanford on June 18. He visited Cal the week prior.

As a junior last fall, Brandt played all over the Sierra Canyon defensive line while totaling 52 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks.

His pledge gives Stanford its 13th known commitment for a class that currently ranks 31st nationally. You can view his highlight tape below, via Hudl:
