Recently hired Stanford assistant leaving for NFL opportunity, per report
Stanford will need to find a new offensive line coach.
Klayton Adams has reportedly landed a new NFL job just over 2 months after he joined the Stanford football staff. ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reports that the Arizona Cardinals are hiring Adams as their offensive line coach.
Cardinals are hiring Klayton Adams as their OL coach. Adams was the Colts’ TEs coach the previous two seasons and recently had joined Stanford’s staff as its run-game coordinator and OL coach.

Adams was announced by Troy Taylor on Dec. 13, 2022, as Stanford’s new offensive line coach and run game coordinator. Adams, 40, has been in coaching since 2005.
Before taking the Stanford position, Adams was with the Indianapolis Colts from 2019-2022. For the first 2 seasons, Adams was the Colts’ assistant offensive line coach. He briefly took a position with Arizona State before returning to the Colt as tight ends coach for 2021 and ’22.
