No. 3 Stanford wins thrilling series over Cal State Fullerton
Stanford baseball won a thrilling series over Cal State Fullerton Sunday night, downing the upset-minded Titans 21-13. Your eyes do not deceive you, it is not once again football season.
The Titans gave the Cardinal everything they had, tying the game at 13 to get into extra innings after owning a 5-run lead late. Stanford was able to pull away to secure the 8-run victory.
Owen Cobb was the beginning of the end for the Titans.

Cal State took the first game of the series Friday, downing the Cardinal 8-1. Stanford evened the series Saturday before affirming their No. 3 status Sunday afternoon.
Stanford is back in action Tuesday against Cal.
