Dalton Schultz, former Stanford TE, signs deal with new NFL team, per report
Dalton Schultz is one of the best young tight ends in the game. The 26 year old former Stanford tight end has played the past 5 years in Dallas with the Cowboys. And he’ll be staying in the Lone Star State, with the Houston Texans signing him to a 1-year deal worth $9 million.
Schultz played especially well last season and the year before last in Dallas. Across the past 3 seasons Schultz has totaled 198 receptions for exactly 2,000 yards and 17 touchdowns.
He’ll prove a valuable weapon to whichever young QB the Texans bring to the team in the upcoming NFL draft.
