Trio of former Pac-12 players step away from Wyoming basketball program
A trio of former Pac-12 player – Ethan Anderson, Max Agbonkpolo and Jake Kyman – were all announced to no longer be with the Wyoming basketball program Wednesday afternoon.
Anderson and Agbonkpolo transferred from USC while Kyman transferred from UCLA. The Los Angeles trio have each started at least one game for the Cowboys this season. Agbonkpolo and Anderson were both apart of USC’s 2021 Elite 8 team.
Anderson was the most productive of the 3 for the Cowboys, averaging just under 8 points per game.

Wyoming was favored by many to win the Mountain West preseason, thanks in part to the trio. Instead, things have not worked out at all in Laramie. Wyoming currently sits at 7-15 on the season.
This comes just a few weeks after Mountain West Preseason Player of the Year Graham Ike announced he would sit out the season with a lingering foot injury.
Wyoming now has just 7 scholarship players on the roster.
