Ten players from the Pac-12 are on the 2023 Bronko Nagurski Trophy preseason watch list.

Oregon and Utah each have a pair of selections on the watch list. Six other Pac-12 programs also have representatives on the list.

The Football Writers Association of America and Charlotte Touchdown Club announced their 96-man preseason list on Tuesday. The award is presented annually to the top defensive player in college football. Arizona’s Scooby Wright (2014) was the last player from the conference to bring home the honor, though USC’s Tuli Tuipulotu was a finalist for the award last season.

Finalists for the 2023 award will be announced on Nov. 15 by the FWAA. The winner will be unveiled at the Bronko Nagurski Awards Banquet in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Dec. 4.
