Stanford went 16-16 last season, but will return the Pac-12’s Freshman of the Year, wing Harrison Ingram. The 6-foot-8 Ingram averaged 10 points, six boards, and three assists for the Cardinal last season. Texas went 22-12 last season, losing to Purdue in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. It was coach Chris Beard’s first season in charge.
The Cougars enjoyed their best season in a decade, going 22-15. Coach Kyle Smith will bring back Mouhamed Gueye while adding Auburn transfer guard Justin Powell and 4-star center Adrame Diongue. Baylor, the 2020-21 national champion, went 27-7 last season and will boast one of the best backcourts in the country next season.
