One of the biggest games of the week, the matchup between Oregon and Utah could be season-defining for both teams. With each team already having one loss on its schedule, a second loss would likely bump them out of the College Football Playoff conversation. On the other hand, a win would do worlds for boosting their resumes.

Both teams come into the game on the heels of a win, with Utah taking down USC last week and Oregon coming off a win over Washington State.

Van Pelt is anticipating a fun battle between the teams, and he’s picking Utah to cover the +6.5 spread in front of its home crowd.

“Let’s ride with the Utes at home getting the points from Oregon in an absolute battle,” Van Pelt said.
