Pac-12 mascots cheer on every play together in endzone at final game
The Pac-12 has played its final game as we know it. The 2023 Pac-12 Championship Game — which belonged to No. 3 Washington with a 34-31 win over Oregon — provided incredible drama Friday night in Las Vegas.
And every team’s mascot was on hand to watch it. Video captured during the game showed all 12 of the schools’ mascots dancing in the corner of the Washington endzone.
All the PAC12 mascots are in the corner cheering on ever play… and it’s just really sinking in, this is over. The PAC12 is over after this.

Next summer, Oregon and Washington will join USC and UCLA in making the move to the Big Ten. The Trojans and Bruins announced their plan to leave the conference before the 2022 football season, kicking off a year of instability in the league that ultimately led to its dissolution.
Arizona, Arizona State, Utah, and Colorado will move to the Big 12. Cal and Stanford will join the ACC. Oregon State and Washington State are set to work with the Mountain West on a scheduling alliance while they determine their long-term futures.
Friday night’s game featured plenty for the mascots to cheer about. The Huskies roared to a 20-3 lead. Oregon then scored 21 unanswered points. The lead changed hands at the end of the third quarter and then again early in the fourth.
The game came down to a crucial third-and-4 that saw Michael Penix Jr. convert to Jalen McMillan for 6 yards.
