The Pac-12 has 10 players on the preseason Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list, which was released on Tuesday.

Utah and Oregon each led the way with a pair of representatives. For the Utes, safety Cole Bishop and defensive tackle Junior Tafuna made the cut. Bishop and Tafuna are expected to be 2 of the top players at their respective positions in the Pac-12 this season.

Oregon’s Brandon Dorlus and Evan Williams also earned spots on the list. Dorlus is a senior defensive end who has been credited with 20.5 sacks throughout his career. Williams is a transfer from Fresno State who was 2nd-team all-Mountain West last season.

UCLA’s Laiatu Latu is another headliner. He recorded 10.5 sacks last season, which was good enough for 7th nationally.

Other Pac-12 representatives include USC’s Calen Bullock, Washington State’s Brennan Jackson, Oregon State’s Kitan Oladapo, Cal’s Jackson Sirmon and Washington’s Bralen Trice.

The Nagurski Trophy is given out annually to the top defensive standout in college football.

The last Pac-12 player to win the Nagurski Trophy was Arizona’s Scooby Wright III in 2014.
